About meTeacher | Student | Seeker
Out of all the awards and accolades, none are more important than the visits of my students and the encouragement of my own children and family. Over the years I have seen wonderful events happen - students finding success and sharing their lives/talents with others. I have the privilege of teaching the best students in the world, the students from Central Falls High School (all are truly welcomed). I also get to keep expanding my ideas as a doctoral researcher and academic as I focus on: Critical Pedagogy, Mixed Methodology, Science Education and Social Justice. Lastly, I seek to figure out how to best develop my skills and how to best share what I have been given with the world. Like all of us, I am a teacher, a student, and a seeker. Here are some short writings about my ideas in education: Treating Students with Dignity http://www.educationresourcesconsortium.org/news/2018/1/4/treating-students-with-dignity Latinos Are More Than Tacos, Sports and Music.
